In Summer of 2021, I had the pleasure of supervising Hadas Baron on her practicum for the UNC Gillings School of Public Health. This Campus Human Trafficking Toolkit was the final product, and she later presented it at the Chrysalis Network’s Puzzles Conference.
One section I contributed that was a unique concept in the field is the section on “Choice Points” — the idea that there are key points in University processes at which students’ vulnerability to trafficking may be increased, and in which the university can choose to provide wraparound supports and transition support to reduce this vulnerability.
